We praise
the Lord for His greatness in our lives, because we see the hand
of God working in our lives every day.
Dear brothers, it gives us
great joy to be able to greet you again and to share what God
is doing in our lives and
in our ministry here in the Quiche area.
As we mentioned in our previous
letter, we are working in two communities
that are called Chi Itzep and Chitocché. This month we
had different types of activities.
We started the month with
a medical campaign with a team from the United States where we
helped the people
with general medicine, eyes and teeth. We had a great response
from the people who showed their gratitude for
the help given. We are sure that everything that is being realized
in these areas will have fruit, maybe right now we
are planting but in time we will reap.
Also, the women's Bible study groups have been unfolding in a way that all of them can participate and we see how they understand the teachings of the Bible and we trust God that they will put them to practice in their families and their own lives.
On the 22nd we visited with a young man who accepted Jesus as his Lord, his name is José Tebalán and this young man showed a desire to grow spiritually, and he has now started his lessons for new believers and we hope that God will help him change his life and be a true Christian and that he will yield his own fruits in his own community.
We are very joyful because we have finished another semester in our studies and have obtained good grades, now that we are preparing to better serve our community and the community of Christ.
We would also like to share some prayer requests with you.
That God will provide what we need to sustain ourselves since we see that it is very difficult to get the collaboration of the brothers and friends to sustain our ministry here in Guatemala.
For the health of our little Juan Alberto.
For the work, that God will lead us to key people to extend the gospel.
For other young people who feel the calling to serve God in this ministry.
